Dainty copper and sterling silver moon and star mismatched drop earrings, handmade by me in my studio.
The sterling silver moon and star are soldered onto the copper rectangles, oxidised with a jeweller's patina to highlight the details and then polished back to a high shine. I love the contrast between the warm copper and the cool silver!
The mixed metal charms hang from a pair of my own hand forged sterling silver ear wires.
Copper is the traditional gift for the 7th wedding anniversary so these earrings would make a sweet gift for someone special on that occasion.
