Handmade 925 sterling silver ball end head pins for use in jewellery making. Price is for one pair of headpins (2 pcs) - choose your preferred wire gauge and pin length to suit your project needs.
These rustic balled tip head pins are individually handcrafted from recycled sterling silver wire. One end of the wire is heated using a butane hand torch which causes the metal to ball up on itself and creates a slightly pitted, textured surface. The pins are then pickled to remove any fire scale and tumble polished in a barrel polisher for added strength and shine.

- Handmade to order and ready to ship in 1 to 3 working days.
- Choice of lengths:- 1 inch (25mm), 2 inches (50mm), 3 inches (75mm) or 4 inches (100mm).
- Choice of wire gauges: 0.6mm (22 gauge) or 0.8mm (20 gauge).
- Ball end measures approximately 2mm wide depending on the gauge selected.
- Tumble polished for strength and shine.
Please note that due to the handcrafted nature of these head pins, there may be slight variations between each pin.
Sterling silver is prone to tarnish and this is a natural occurrence. The shine can be easily restored with a silver polishing cloth.
