These simple, rustic ball stud earrings are created by melting down waste and offcuts of sterling silver that gradually accumulate in the course of my jewellery making.
The silver is melted with a hand torch (check out the video to see how it's done!), producing these beautifully organic little silver balls, their surfaces subtly textured with ripples, divots and dimples. The little pebbles are then securely soldered onto sterling silver posts and finished with sterling silver butterfly backs.
Each little nugget is individually handmade so the surface markings will vary, making each pair completely unique and one of a kind.

These earrings are small enough to be worn in a second hole piercing.

- Nuggets vary in size but measure approximately 6mm to 7mm wide (1/4 to 1/3 inch).
