ABOUT PERIDOT
Peridot is one of the few gemstones that only forms in one colour. The gem variety of the mineral Olivine, it gets its green colour due to its iron content - the more iron it contains, the deeper green it will be.
Peridot is said to alleviate feelings of jealousy, spite, resentment, hatred and greed while reducing anger, stress and guilt and enhancing confidence and assertion. Set in gold, it is said to protect against nightmares and promote peaceful sleep.

Peridot is a delicate gemstone with a lower hardness than many other gemstones and is therefore easily scratched or chipped if banged hard or dropped. You should also avoid intense heat or rapid changes in temperature.
