ABOUT AQUAMARINE

Aquamarine is a pale blue / green member of the beryl family of gemstones, which also includes morganite and emerald.

Aquamarine’s name is taken from the Latin for seawater (aqua marinus) because of its sparkling blue green colour. It was said to calm waves and keep sailors safe at sea and was believed to be the treasure of mermaids!
