WHAT IS GOLD FILLED?
"Gold filled" (also called "rolled gold") is comprised of a layer of solid 14K gold which is permanently bonded to a base metal, usually brass. The layer of gold must be a minimum of 1/20th (or 5%) of the weight of the item. Gold fill is very hard wearing and will not peel or flake, unlike gold plate, under normal wear. It is therefore commonly used as an economical alternative to pure gold.
Came very quickly in the post, cute little earrings. However they are quite hard to put into the slot, you have to bend them into the back instead of clip in. I would also recommend the smallest size is very snug, I have next to know earlobes and they were tight so I wouldnt recommend to those with longer earlobes. Otherwise they are v cute :)
